While dad’s away….
Since becoming the chorister in church Ryan has DEFINITELY discovered that he LOVES to be up in FRONT entertaining the congregation. Often he’ll sneak up to be beside me (or behind me bouncing on a seat) during the rest hymn or closing hymn. Jeff and I have had a few discussions about this. However yesterday was a new high for Ryan’s antics. Jeff and Nathan left early to head up to scout camp so I was going solo @ church with the younger 3. During the 1st song—not even partway thru the 1st verse even—Ryan decides to jump from his pew, over the top of the next one. I had positioned him close to the front where I could keep an eye on him. And wow was there a show starting. Thankfully a dear sister slid into the pew after his 5th attempt! I swear I was about to have a nervous breakdown right then—but crisis averted. I’m considering bringing duct tape next week—tape him into the pew!
